Introducing Multi-Materials from Otherworld! Giving you total control and a vast amount of customization options, this new PBR concept opens up a huge array of creative possibilities.
Please note, the C/M version only contains the material files, NOT the texture maps, which are only included in the full perm version. This is because you need transfer perms to create new material files inworld or change the maps in existing material files.
What CAN you do?
*All in-world controls via the build menu are available. Edit the tint, transparency, roughness and metallicity of the materials.
*Copy/Paste materials and edit them to save them as new variations.
What you CANNOT do?
*Change the texture maps within the material files for other texture maps.
*Create NEW material files via the "save as" function.
Each pack contains 18 variations on the pattern theme.

You can still create many more different variations on the 18 included files, but it is nowhere near as versatile as the full perm set.
Each set also comes with an example board displaying all of the pre-sets, which can come in handy for reference and also testing out lighting conditions quickly.
All screenshots have been taken at midday, under a reflection probe in an empty region 100m above ground level to give the most neutral reading. Please remember if one of the pre-sets does not look quite right under your lighting conditions, this is to be expected and you can change and play with every available parameter in-world. They are merely intended as a jumping off point for you.

I'm writing this (belated) review after months of using the Mandala C textures from Pixel. My initial expectation was high, and they have far exceeded it. The standout feature for me is their versatility - they tiled beautifully when used as inserts in a coffered ceiling and when updating furniture with richer, PBR-enhanced texturing. I initially purchased the set for detailing interior overhauls on a Rome-inspired roleplay sim and the end products were fantastic. They tile seamlessly and hold their clarity perfectly. If you're looking for textures that offer both exceptional quality and incredible utility for customizing, you can't go wrong here.
