Vintage Aircraft Restorations Hawker Hurricane MK II RAF Camo with invasion stripes (very Dirty) MW367 DR B (ADLS)

MW367 is a Hurricane Mk 2 with invasion stripes - this was rare to find on a hurricane, most having been withdrawn from front line service in Europe. MW367 served with the Air Dispatch Letter Service (ADLS) and is represented in a filthy wartime condition.
Invasion stripes were applied to the aircraft only hours before the invasion began and, depending on the airfield, could be applied in a rather haphazard fashion. In this particular example you can see that the registration number (MW367) has been partially painted over on both sides and the pre-existing white stripe on the tail is partially still visible; also the squadron codes are not clearly visible. (this is accurate according to photographic evidence)
