This guitar uses high quality Mesh design and professional hand crafted animations. It has the following features;

To use simply Wear or Add this item from your inventory.

Instructions - Menu
when you wear the guitar or touch the guitar the menu will show.
Below is a description of the menu options you will get when with the guitar;

[Play Stood] - Positions the guitar into the playing position and begins the playing animation in a standing stance
[Rest Stood] - Positions the guitar into the playing position and plays the relaxed/waiting animation
[Presets] - Your own animations overriden to play the guitar - see below...
[Play Sat] - Positions the guitar into the playing position and begins the playing animation in the sitting stance
[Rest Sat] - Positions the guitar into the playing position and plays the relaxed/waiting animation
[Override) - play guitar over almost any animation - see below...
[Saddle] - Positions the guitar onto your back for easy transportation
[Setup] - As all avatars are of a different shape and size this puts the guitar into setup mode showing a static pose for ease of positioning. Please see below.
[Sync] - this enables or disables the ability to synchronise the animations with this guitar with other people (using PDA guitars) - this feature requires the optional PDA Guitar HUD.
[Help] - This notecard

Override & Presets
This amazing feature allows you to customize your guitar to your needs... it allows you to play any of your own animations and turn it into a guitar playing animation. It works as follows;

Override: Play any animation - either from your invent or standing on a store demo etc. Touch the guitar and then click Override and that animation will be overriden by the guitar playing! Works especially well with mocap walk animation and many dance animations. This even works with a lot of AO's but often the automatic changing of the animation needs to be turned off as this can override the guitar again when it changes.

Presets: If you have found a particularly good animation that you would like to use you can add it to the Presets. Simply drag the guitar to the ground (you may well need to do this in a sandbox as the guitar has a high level of detail so has a large land impact) - say No to it wanting to animate. Edit the guitar, click the contents tab then simply drag your new animation to the contents. wait for SL to update then Take the guitar back. No need to edit notecards as the guitar will automatically find your animations. Wear or Add the guitar and click Presets. Click the button that has the name of your animation on it. Tadaa.

There are two freebie example animations supplied in the guitar ("day and nite dance" and "everybody loves me") - these can be deleted if not required. Do NOT delete any other animations or files inside the guitar as this will probably result in the guitar not working correctly.

Remember - to purchase animations for your guitar test the animation in the store first and use the override feature so you can see exactly how it looks before purchasing.

Instructions - Setup
Because all avatars are of a different shape and size this guitar incorporates a setup option the will show a static pose (one for each of playing and saddled modes - The playing-sitting and playing-standing positions are the same) so you can more easily position the guitar for the animations to look at their best. This should be done when the guitar is in Play Mode and again when it is in Saddled Mode as these positions are stored separately.

Touching the guitar after re-positioning shows a menu offering to Save Position or Cancel - saving your changes or discarding them respectively. Screenshots are provided to help you get the guitar into the correct playing position. Align your guitar as close as you can to the reference pictures.

Also, for even easier use of your PDA guitar a HUD is available that also adds a couple of extra features. Search Marketplace for "PDA Guitar Hud" or look at the related items at the bottom of this page for more information.
