Pucca Firecaster
Great weapon, with an even better seller.
Originally I left a 3 star review, as I felt this was a very good weapon, but a lack of the ability to mod anything other than the sheath made it very difficult to make it match any outfits, since it's like plain white/grey.
I was contacted shortly after by Pucca Firecaster who told me that the regular boxed version of the weapon - the Gor version - is not modifiable because of the Gor scripts, and that the DCS version was modifiable. So, I unboxed the DCS and it turns out that I was entirely wrong, and that it's modifiable and can match the sheath. So, if you're like me, and want to change the colors, use DCS.
As for the rest of the review:
The Odin's Spear makes a very good single handed spear. It is designed to be used with a shield, and the animations for that one-handed use are very good. It flows really well, and it looks great too. The 3 separate faces for the cloth, wood, and metal make this very simple and easy to color without any complications.
Overall, a good looking, and good functioning weapon.
This spear is terrible...
This is terrible, as the weapon lacks range adjustment for combat distance (not using standard GM spear-range adjustment commands), and this great looking, long spear... uses 1-handed sword animations and swings about in circles like it's a sword. It's silly. Skip this one if you're looking for a good spear.
