Are you a villain who can't use the planet's aether to conjure? are you hell bent on destroying the world to bring about utopia? are you ridiculously tall? show your racial alignment with this atherical third eye. guaranteed to make you unable to use magic, but 100% able to do cool feats of engineering instead!

this is a small nubby.. thing, meant to resemble the garlean third eye from the mmorpg final fantasy xiv. it is unrigged and completely mod so that you can stick it on your face and move it around, make it bigger or smaller, do whatever you want with it! it comes in two shapes, oval and round, and the included hud allows you to pick from 3 pearly style textures and 3 metal style textures.

the lip of skin around the "eye" is set up to take on the BOM texture of your head. if you are using a mesh head that uses the normal SL uv map, use the item labeled "SL UV" if you have a head that uses the lelutka EVO X uv map, use the item labeled "EVOX UV".

if for some reason you are not using a mesh head you will find this object will turn your head completely invisible, unfortunately this is something BOM stuff does. to fix this, you'll need some modding skills: wearing the item, edit it and change to the select face option, then select the skin lip, change to the texture tab in the edit box, and click the texture box, navigate to the bake tab in the texture picker and change the drop down menu to "none". you can then tint the skin lip to match your skin.
