POOTERBILT Pediatrician HUD (boxed)

The POOTERBILT Pediatrician HUD is a very useful tool for you to accomplish, or add to your role play in the medical field, school atmosphere, or other RP scenarios in SL. With the HUD you can interact with the POOTERBILT Pediatric HUD system to diagnose childhood illnesses, determine the pediatric's last vaccines and injections which include:

Hepatitis A (Hep A) - Two doses recommended : Give 1st dose, then 2nd dose 6 months after 1st
Hepatitis B (Hep B) - Three doses : 1st @ birth-2 months, 2nd 1-4 months, 3rd 6-8 months
Haemophilus influenzae B (HiB) - 4 doses: 2, 4, and 6 months, then @ 12-15 months
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - 2 doses: 1st @ 12-15 months, 2nd @4-6 years
Pneumococcal (PCV) - 4 doses: 2, 4, and 6 months, then 12-15 months
Inactivated Poliovirus (IPV) - 4 doses: 2, and 4 months, then 6-18 months, then 4-6 years
Diptheria Tetanus and Pertussis (DTaP) - 5 doses: 2, 4, and 6 months, then 15-18 months, then 4-6 years, and then 11-12 years
Chickenpox (Varicella) Vaccine - 2 doses: 1st @ 12-15 months, then 4-6 years
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) - 3 doses between ages 9-26: Give 1st dose, then 2nd dose @1-2 months after 1st dose, 3rd dose 6 months after 1st dose
Tetanus Booster (Tetanus) - Older than 12 years: Every 5-10 years
Seasonal Influenza (Influenza) - 6 months or older: if child is older than 9 and never had, need 2 doses 4weeks apart, then annually
Rotavirus (Rota) - Given orally: depending on brand either given in 2 doses @ 2 and 4 months old, or in 3 doses @ 2, 4, and 6 months old

You can scan to determine the pediatric's date for last doses of vaccines/injections given as well as diagnose/determine what illness they are experiencing (if any)
The scan will report each of the last vaccines / injections given and the date recieved
The scan will report the illness the child may be experiencing if one is present

You can find out who the pediatric's parents are by scanning them with the "Parents" button on the hud so that you can validate consents for treatments rendered
Mother is set on Pediatric HUD by typing /7 and Mother's full SL given name (case sensitive)
Father is set on Pediatric HUD by typing /8 andFather's full SL given name (case sensitive)
You can treat any of the conditions or illnesses the pediatric is experiencing immediately with the "Treat" button.Immediate treatment should not be used when a child comes to a clinic, you should RP the condition, ask for the symptoms they are experiencing, offer non-medication approaches, and ask them to come back when certain symptoms have developed. Otherwise the RP will be ruined with immediate remedy of an illness. Maybe consider using medications for a few days as an RP option and have them come back to see you in one week.
The illnesses that they experience are common childhood illnesses, and most are contagious. The symptoms will show in local chat every 5-6 minutes during an illness. They will spread the illnesses to other POOTERBILT Pediatric HUD users if they are in close proximity and the illness is contagious. They can also choose to be ill on command, which can change their current illness. They will only be ill with one illness at a time. You can RP other illnesses along side it if you choose. If they are not ill, after several hours-days-weeks (depending on inworld game-play) they will automatically contract illnesses as well.

PB-Cough ~ Used for illnesses with coughing (6 doses)
PB-Cream ~ Used for skin concerns (rashes, bites) (14 doses)
PB- Pen ~ Used for bee stings (1 dose)
PB-Flu ~ Used for flu treatment (6 doses)
PB-Histamine ~ Used for sinuses, allergies (7 doses)
PB-Profen ~ Used for aches, pains, fevers (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory) (1 dose)
PB-Puff ~ Used for respiratory conditions (Bronchodilator) (1 treatment)
