Porthole collection.
Animated textures and color change (&more) HUD.
There are 2 portholes in the package, one is standing and the other is for wall.
This was originally made to display Pet Peddlers Breedable fish but makes a great home decor item as well!.

To see them in person please click the link below "see item in Second Life". If purchased in world they come in a displayable package.There are 22 in the collection (so far) so there is more than I can fit in the related items area below.

The instructions are IN the HUD but I've included a shortened version below.

About the Pet Peddlers fish display porthole w/HUD:
The Porthole is copy only but the HUD allows you to do most everything you could do with mod rights!
The HUD is pretty self explanatory but here I will list it's features for your reference.
1. ADD the HUD from your inventory, it will pop up on your screen.
2.Choose a button on the left of the HUD, as you can see there are pictures of the area that will change:
1) Porthole outside rims
2) Porthole inside rim
3) Coral
4) Main scene
You will know which button is chosen by the green colored strip on the side of the button.
(Pleas note: the octo/squid porthole does not have the coral panel)
3. Play with the color selector to choose your colors.

* The minus and plus buttons will make the porthole larger and smaller. You can make this super tiny or as huge as a house. I maxed it out at 64m and it was only 3LI (2LI at normal size)

* The garbage can icon:
Each different porthole has its own config so you have to use the HUD that came with each porthole, this prevents the Huds changing all portholes at once in case you want them all different colors. PLEASE NOTE: if you want to use several of the SAME porthole with different colors once each one is finished to your liking click the garbage can icon to delete the script from the porthole so you don't change it when you move to the next one. The scripts are VERY low lag so it doesn't matter if you want to leave them in if you're just using one.

* Next button down is the reset button. Click this if you feel the need to restart the HUD. This is rarely needed but sometimes if SL is being wonky (which happens often) you may need to use this if it seems like the HUD was affected. Often times the HUD may reset it's self if there is an issue (lag etc)

That's pretty much it for the HUD. Now some suggestions on how to display your fish:

~You may rez your fish right inside the porthole.
~If you want your fish exactly centered: from the edit tool grab the porthole, go to the object tab.
Where it says "position" click the "c" button then grab your fish and in the same panel click the "P" button.
Then raise your fish up to the height within the porthole you want it. (don't worry this will not prevent people from being able to click on it or buy it).

~Suggestion on coloring:
You may have learned in school what "complimentary colors" are but if you didn't...
The best way to make your fish "POP" is to choose colors opposite to it on the color wheel, eg. reds/greens....blues/oranges....purples/yellows.
So lets say your fish is a red apple dazzle something or other then use green tones in your porthole and it'll make your fishy wowza!
