PREFAB Apartments, 5 floors, 9 units, small footprint, SoHo style, especially created for Newbie Builders! Copy/Mod Version 1

This building is perfect for anyone trying to break into the rental business, especially new builders. All the work is already done for you, you just rez, advertise and collect rent! AND you don't have to have a Premium Account -- just rent some land, set up and go!

All 9 units have touch on/off privacy windows, password protected keypads (sent to their local chat when they pay so you don't have to be online for them to enter their unit). 2 fireplaces (animated with crackling sound) for the 8 600sqm units, and 4 for the 1200sqm penthouse unit. The penthouse balcony is large enough for a hot tub. All units have a small atrium inside their front door. 2 hanging palms are included on the first floor that you can copy to the other floors if desired. Also concrete columns, stone walls, and dark walnut hardwood floors, all original textures.

Size is 40 x 30 sqm, so you willl need at least a 2048 parcel. That still leaves you with 20 x 30 sqm you can put in a pool, gardens, deck etc. Larger parcels will allow you to give more prims to your tenants.

When you get your package, it will say NO MODIFY on it, but that is because of the door and keypad scripts. Everything is Copy/Modify so you can make as many units or floors you wish.

Included in this package are Elevator Numbers if you want to add floors. Instruction Notecards for READ ME FIRST (setup), RENTAL BOXES, ELEVATOR, DOORS, REZZING NEW FLOORS. All written in simple to understand English, detailing step-by-step instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS
=========

1. Open this box and copy to inventory.

2. This package is not in a Rez Box. We've tried to make it simple for newbie builders. To unpack your Condos, make sure you are in edit mode. Rez the SoHo Condos 5 Floors Box onto your land. You need at least 30 x 40 sqm (2048 plot size). That still leaves you 30x20 sqm for lawns, pool, deck, etc.. Larger parcels will allow you to give more prims to your renters.

3. The item consists of 3 separate linked sections. If you're in edit mode when you rez it, it's easy to position it on your property. These linked parts are: 1) the 1st floor automatic sliding doors; 2) the room doors and keypads; and 3) the actual structure. The Condos come with a large base, so you can lower it onto hills, water, etc.

4. If you weren't in Edit Mode, after you rezzed your Condos, go to Edit. You will need to hold down the shift key, click on the lobby doors, then click on one of the brown doors, then click on the building structure, you can move all of them at the same time now.

5. After you have your Condos positioned, deselect the lobby doors (shift key, click) and go to OBJECT in EDIT mode and click UNLINK. That is so you can configure all the different note cards separately (see the DOORS NOTECARD, ELEVATOR NOTECARD & RENTAL BOX NOTECARD). Everything is completely set up out of the box, but you may want to add floors, change prices & prims, and keypad passwords, so be sure to read the additional notecards.

6. Now that the structure is unlinked, you can remove the sign outside, or change it. Most land owners only let Group Members rez items on their property, so there is a Group Inviter in the sign. Go to CONTENT in EDIT mode and open it up. The instructions on how to find the KEY for your group are included.

7. The 1st floor lobby doors need to be linked, everything else doesn't. If you accidently unlink the doors, they won't work. To fix this problem, hold down the shift key and select both doors, link them. The sensor is invisible and is located in the center at the bottom of the doors. That needs to be the root prim (linked last). If you have difficulty finding it, use CTRL ALT T, to show invisible prims.
