A newer version of the scanner used by the pesky Progeny vampires. Wear it to see who near you is wearing fangs and has come close enough to bite you.
Even though many sites do not allow them to wear the fangs to bite, they now use a chat code which does not print on the screen, that bypasses the blockage. Many land owners are unaware of this, and the bites continue to happen in their lands.

First of all, this is not handed to progeny fledges. Secondly, its a cheap knockoff of the lantern progeny detector that you can even see on the screen unless a vamp pops up, and good luck seeing the notification. It does not put into the local chat. Useless.

There's no harm in this product. If using it makes you feel safe from a pretend vampire game that doesn't affect you or involve you, then mission accomplished.
The script only looks for attachments with the name "Progeny." Perhaps it may have been effective in 2016 when the script was written, but technology has progressed since.
I recommend people get over their fear of pretend vampires in a crowd and carry on enjoying the SL experience.
