:PV: Pirogue Triple Pack Version 1.0

The Pirogue (Pi-rohg or Pii-rah-gwah) is a type of dugout canoe, popular among the natives and pirates alike during the golden age of piracy, in the Caribbean. It was cheap and easy to make, and replace, making it a perfect vessel for pirates to use to travel the inlets and shallow sea, often simply using flintlock rifles to attack small merchant vessels with them.

This pirogue of our alt-30s age references those qualities in its three forms.

DL-22 Pirogue LC:
The Pirogue Light Craft is a relatively light, open design, held together by an open framework, making it not quite a full plane and yet definitely a bit larger and heavier than an ultralight. This earns it the designation of a Light Craft, or a Diesel Light. It is able to carry a few passengers and some light cargo, making it ideal for taking trips around the mainland, cargo delivery or camping out. It is cheap and easy to make, as far as aircraft go, a design that screams of 'home-built' and available to anyone brave enough to take to the skies with less of a cockpit or proper fuselage. Similar to other craft or our era, it includes a boost function, however it is more limited to shorter bursts, so the craft does not shake itself apart from the strain.

Those qualities make it a favorite of at-home flight enthusiasts, do-it-yourselfers and..... sky pirates!

Being easy to replace or repair, light and agile enough to get into and out of situations, and with the ability to carry several armed sky pirates along with a small stash of cargo, it's a perfect craft for ne'er do-wells of the skies. In the hands of sky pirates, it lives up to its namesake from history with its open and light design, allowing for the use of rifles, or thrown explosives.

DIR-22 Pirogue Dirigible:
Sharing many of the qualities of the light craft, this light dirigible takes to the skies in a different way, replacing the mounted wing structures with a rigid balloon structure front which the frame hangs beneath, attached by sturdy steel cables. This craft is naturally slower than its more plane-like counterpart, with a less effective boost that can only push it up to the same speed you would get at 100% throttle.

Being slower, and with the ability to stop in place and hover, it makes a great vessel for parking out in the skies to relax and enjoy the sights. It is equally useful as a spotter or recon craft for combat operations, however it is more of a sitting duck in any active combat zones and thus might require more protection. Either way it makes a great vehicle for civilian and sky pirate alike!

It also maintains its amphibious nature, due to keeping the same amphibious frame as the light craft, allowing you to set this slower floating craft down on the water. This makes it a great craft for fishing, underwater salvage operations, or just taking a swim.

AC-22 Pirogue Airboat:
The concept behind this water craft is quite simple, remove the mounted wings and landing gear from the light craft, in order to make it into a purely aquatic craft. The powerful engine can push this airboat along the waters quite fast, making it ideal for those looking to speed along the waters, whether to deliver cargo in a hurry, making a quick getaway, or just for joyriding along the waves. It also maintains the light craft's boost function, for those short bursts of extra speed when you need it!

In place of the wing mounts, it has a canopy to provide a little shade on those hot sunny days, which can be easily removed for those times you want to let more sun in, or just want a more open feel, making it like a convertible of the seas.

You can take it out to race, cruise, do some fishing, or take a swim and explore under the waves, though It also makes for a great waterborne scout and maybe even a mine layer for those heated situations.
