PaintGun Multi-Color Paint Fully Fuctional Version 1.6

World's first unique one an only fully functional paint gun!
This is a handy builders tool or can be just for fun.
For builders this is a tool used for painting mesh objects and prims providing an easy way to create a texture. Paint your mesh or prim the way you want it, take a picture, then texture it with that image. The paint gun provides an especially convenient method for painting meshes and getting them photo ready for a permanent texture. Once you photograph and obtain the texture you will only need a slight touch up to get it the way you need. The main thing is that the scale will be accurate.
The paint gun can also be used for fun. One of your friends goes to sleep, paint him up and take pictures. Or paint your friends house, or play gangster tagger and leave your tag on the sandbox walls. Lots of fun uses, but be careful to obey the TOS.

*** Method of operation***
The paint gun shoots small invisible rods which are cut in half so the end is glowing.
When the rods are shot, they emit particles.
When the rods impact, the particles stop and the ends glow emitting light which simulates the look of paint.

Since the paint is actually light, mixing paint yields the same result as mixing light. For example green and red make yellow. As you can see in the images attached, notice where the green 'M' and red 'W' meet. Also notice the over spray on the ground. It is possible to delete each glowing rod to touch up your work.
the paint rods will not impact phantom objects so those can not be painted. Almost everything and any avatar can be painted. There is a strange anomaly with curves. Sometimes when painting a curve, the rods penetrate and embed themselves too deep and disappear inside the object. It seems that curved portions of objects are less dense than flat spots.

Painting objects requires many glow rods which translates to a lot of prims. If you use temporary there is no problem, but it's nearly impossible to do a nice paint job and take pictures in 2 minutes. So you may need to do this in a sandbox. Select permanent and it will last until the next cleaning. To clean up simply type kill or die in Nearby chat. Full operating instructions are in the main prim.

Use this as is or modify to your own needs. This is full permissions and you are free to learn from the code and copy to other creations you may have and use as you like.
