Parterre "Trianon" -C&G-

There's really nothing good about this parterre other than the pattern. Perhaps that's why they don't have anywhere in world to see it and only show you one aerial view. The color of the grass if sort of interesting, though very yellow. The edges where the paths are are terrible--look frayed or like they have fringes and don't blend at all. The texture on the "hedges" is terrible: tiny leaves, too many repeats, not at all realistic. The "hedges are tiny. . maybe six inches high. Also super narrow. Great idea; terrible execution.

This is exaclty what I was looking for. It's fabulous. I have added extra bushes and flowers to it

The shape is really nice, but the texture of the hedge is not so nice. It doesn't look very natural and you can't change the edges at the bottom to a different texture without losing the transparency at the edges. I'm really a little disappointed because I know Marie is an exceptionally talented artist and yet I would buy things here again and again because they are just superbly done. Please don't be angry with me for not liking this article. I will definitely shop here again next time. A demo inworld would have been an advantage ;-)

This parterre is so perfect for any garden and really gives it that formal French look. I added lots of flowers growing out of it and it looks so pretty.
