Industrial machinery for your factory or scifi mining colony or spaceship or anywhere else. When activated, the top of the unit generates a ball of static electricity. Can be run with sounds turned on or off.

A good prop, and better because it's moddable.
You can even get inside the script that generates the particles and adjust it to make the particles more glowy and luminescent. Look up the LSL wiki for the details on particle blending functions.
I also appreciate there's options for playing the particles with or without sound effects.
