Easy Solution For Streaming Your Movie Content
This system is an easy to use solution for anyone wanting to show pay per view content to their visitors/members at a specified price/time.
If a visitor pays the screen, the screen will open for any given time, set by the owner then closes.
So you could have one texture as the main display, and a second when the screen is paid, the second could be your media texture on your land for example, if you had a parcle of land devided and set to a group, a user would have to enter that parcle/room to view the media, when he pays the screen the screen changes to the media texture you have set on your land, your land would have some media content url which you wanted the user to see.
If the owner touches the screen while it is closed, the screen will open for whatever length of time has been set, without charge.
The owner sets the price in Lindens and the time to remain open in seconds by writing the two numbers, separated by a comma, in the description field of the screen. For example, if you are charging L$10 for a 60 second look, put '10,60' in the description field (do not put the quote marks in the description).
When the window is closed, the texture called 'closed' will be displayed on the screen.
When the window is open, the texture called 'opened' iwill be displayed
You can apply different textures to sute your needs.
You need to be able to rename them 'closed' and 'open'.
*You must set the same texture (opened) in your media settings
Just add the same texture to you media settings in "about land" under the media tab.
Also add the movie URL you want to start when a user pays the screen.
*You can edit/change the "opened" & "closed" textures to fit better with your own design.

You could also have a video player randomly play a list of urls, set the pay per view screen to close every 2/3 hours
When a user pays the screen he has two hours to watch the movie, leaving him enough time for any time wasted setting up.
