[PdW Nyx] Terrain 24-0001-A Version v20240826

Hello there!

Thank you so much for your interest and, I hope, purchase of the '[PdW Nyx] Terrain 24-0001 A-C' PBR material set!

This is the listing for the A variant! Please see the attached photos!

This set is my (Nyx) first release of PBR materials in Second Life. Here is a brief (oh well...) description of what you will get with this product, recommendations, licensing terms, and more.

TERRAIN TEXTURE - a description
I leave it to the product photos to show what the textures are. I believe they will suitably work on rocks, cliffs and paths. They might be especially well suited for rocky surfaces near or where water meets land, but also in forests, caves and similar damp environments.

DEMO
This product has a demo available to try before purchase.

The demo pack contains a Sky Setting to demonstrate this product in a midday light adapted for PBR textures.

The demo pack also contains an example build ( 14 land impact ) that consists of both meshes and prims to showcase all the textures of this pack in 2048x resolution.

- First: [PdW Nyx] Terrain 24-0001-C (essentially a mix of the other two)
- Middle: [PdW Nyx] Terrain 24-0001-B (green tones)
- Third: [PdW Nyx] Terrain 24-0001-A (earthy tones)

RESOLUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
With each purchase you will get the materials in 512x512, 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 resolution. For performance reasons I
recommend using the lowest resolution that yields a good result for you! I.e. if 1024x looks good, use that instead of 2048x.
If the material looks blurry on your build, try changing the scale before you choose a higher resolution. For more variation, you can
play with rotation too - where seamlessness is important, only change rotation in 90 degrees increments.

SKY SETTING
With each purchase, and with the demo, comes a Sky Setting, I recommend using it and adapting it to your needs. It comes with mod
and copy perms. If you want to send it to someone else, please point them to the demo listing of this product on the Marketplace.

LICENSE FOR PERSONAL USE - INFO ABOUT OTHER PERMS AND USAGE
This pack is meant for personal use, not for products that you wish to sell. If you're interested in a license for commercial use for which you will need Transfer perms, please contact me with your price proposal along with a description of how you intend to use the materials.

Even though the product is intended for personal use, some other uses might be okay as long as it doesn't amount to commercial
use or something like it: be it for free or for payment in any currency or barter it is not allowed.

PBR MATERIALS ONLY - INFO ABOUT TEXTURES
These materials only really come out as they should in PBR, so I am not attaching the base textures. If you need them, please
contact me with a description of how you intend to use them and a price proposal.

REFUNDS
The usual rules in SL: refunds only for double purchases. Please provide the purchase details including transaction information such as transaction reference and date. If I can't find both / all of your related transactions, I can't refund you.

ISSUES, COMPLAINTS, and other THOUGHTS - expressed in a polite and friendly way
If you have issues or complaints, please provide a detailed description of your case. As per usual, something that you reasonably should have been able to notice or learn of by using the demo, reading this notecard, reading the product description on the Marketplace, or through any material provided or made available prior to the purchase will not be cause for refund or other compensation. That said, I do want to improve my products and product information and will consider any thoughts shared with me.

ISSUES, COMPLAINTS, and other THOUGHTS - expressed poorly or in an unfriendly way
Will be ignored and left unanswered. Extreme cases will be grounds for an Abuse Report to Linden Lab.
