This is a unique and unusual vehicle designed to use real physics: separate wheels that move the vehicle by turning. The vehicle is capable of climbing over junk, cars, some structures in sandboxes.
A typical vehicle in Second Life uses what I refer to as 'magic brick' physics. It moves forward as if being pushed, and stops the instant it hits the smallest bump. This Gear Car moves differently, with friction from the wheels pushing the ground.
4 separate wheels of 11 prims each, chassis 18 prims, total 62 prims / 5 objects.
HUD is required to rez the wheels, can also be used to remote-control the vehicle, change dimensions, and check for updates.
Note: vehicle cannot cross region boundries under it's own power, it will fall apart if attempted.
Note: Some regions have parcels that do not allow the wheels to pass. (no-object-entry)
Bonus items included, but not necessary for the car:
-2m steps loop (140x11x135)
--A very large basic wood vertical loop, for (attempts at) driving the car around.
-Land: bumpy (52x52 m)
--Some rather bumpy land for driving the car around on.
