I made these originally to use as "pets", but ended up using them more often for pranking visitors in Innsmouth. If you've been to Innsmouth in SL and found yourself being followed by pesky, glowing vermin, I probably dropped them on you... Whaddya want, it's part of my job! I'm a pest! XP

Rezz one or more from your inventory, on the ground within 5 meters of any avatar, and the follower(s) will follow them around. They are attracted to whichever avatar is nearest, so good luck aiming for one specific person in a group!

What's really fun is that you can do this from across a sim by camming on people and dropping them on the ground. I've been known to "haunt" people this way for going into my friends' houses when they're not home. It's a fun way to let them know someone can see them sneaking about, at least.

If the target avatar should teleport away, and another avatar is in range, they will start following that avatar. If you have a bunch of them following you, and you poof, they'll follow whoever was within 5 meters when you poofed.

If nobody is within 5 meters for more than a few seconds they will self-delete, so don't feel bad thinking you've left litter behind if you crash. You should only feel bad if you dumped them on someone who was allergic to them.

If you hover your cursor over one of them, and you're quick enough to grab it when the cursor turns into a little grabby hand, you can drag it around in any direction on the X-Y axes (horizontally, basically), and make it circle around you or dance around in front of you. It's something fun to do when you're bored or there's nobody else around to pester.

You can also drag one away from one person, and make it follow somene else, by simply dragging it over to the target person away from the person it's already pestering.

These were made for fun and pranking, but like anything else in life that's fun and pranky, they should be used with awareness. Please do not swarm people with these to harrass them, or use them in a mean-spirited way, or in places they'd be considered inappropriate (like during church).

They're supposed to be fun. Please don't ruin fun with them.

The script inside is not mod, but it is copyable; you may place it in other things and see if it works with them, but I take no responsibility for it if your objects start floating around upside down or something weird happens to them.

The meshes are modifiable, you can resize or recolor or whatever you feel like doing to customize them.

These have been on my MP for a while now, and I've given them to a lot of friends, and sold some, so I believe they're earned their freedom. Please accept them as my humble gift to you in thanks for all of the loving support I've had from so many cool people in Second Life who are just as weird as I am. You all make my SL happy and fun. ^-^
