Being SL, I'm quite sure you have been in a room filled with people who aren't saying a word. So to comment on that phenomenon I went to the phrase "you can head a pin drop" and made it literal.
With this hud you drop a giant pin in front of you that makes a high pitched "ding" on the ground. So you can literally hear the pin drop in the quiet room.
