Once again, more visual and facade oriented.
These are more visual - or facade oriented.
The texturing is nice (As in metal, glinting with light and full perm) price is good, however, the curves are either VERY HIGH land impact with prim enabled, or they are 1 LI with the inability to walk where the invisible envelope/square physics keeps you from walking.
Many people don't even realize they have to enable the prim setting, if they're newer, so this is just a frustration to them. :( I wish the creator would have been more up front on these, but the only two pieces it truly affects is the ones with gentle curves, rather than the squares (Which can be done with placing two straights together.) Also if you do link the squares with the straights you get a (from two straights and two large squares 179 LI) >.< Blender isn't the easiest for working with, I get it. But this is just unusable save for looks. Not why I purchased them. :(
I would've considered taking off that add for the 3 angles being covered and maybe should, the curves aren't able to form a 1/2 or 3/4 circle, which to me would be ideal.
Anyhow, good for facades straights or stairway matching. Not so much for curves and wrap around situations you wish to be capable of walking in.
Excellent product
I have used these handrails in builds such as bridges and have had no problems with them - a nice piece of work.
Not optmized
Cheap but badly made in terms of physics, especially the corner bits which has a wrap physicls that stops you from walking near it. If you turn it to PRIM the blocking will be gone it will eat up a whooper 89 prims.
Well... so - so
Not so good not so bad.
You have to make'em phantom and add an invisible prim for funtionallity and they're not texturizable.
