Plant Watering System

The Plant Watering System consists of a scripted pot of flowers and a scripted watering can which is obtained from a scripted tool cupboard. The scripts in the plant can be transferred to any suitable modifiable plant. The outdoor can produces a wide water spray, whereas the indoor can produces a narrow directed flow of water. The system is designed for role play in domestic & school situations.

Two potted plants are included with the script, animation & notecard already installed. The full watering time is 30s, after which your avatar will be unseated. If you stand before the watering is completed the percentage watering will be given in chat. You can resit to continue watering at any time. To get the current state of the plant when it is not being watered, click the plant.

The default 'sit target' is adjustable while watering the plant, but there is also an automatic adjustment which is applied to take into account avatar height.

The script gives a 7-day period for a full watering lasting 30 seconds. The period is reduced in proportion for a plant which is left in a partially watered state. When the plant's water supply has dropped to 25%, the flowers begin to die, and will disappear entirely when the plant is dry. When the plant is watered the flowers will bloom again.
