A simple tool for builders: a single-faced mesh that simply shows a fire or plant texture in multiple directions. This is often done via several flattened cubes or even a special sculpty, however all these have their downsides - prims eat up LI and slow the viewer's redraw rate due to the excess of faces involved; while sculpties not only require downloading TWO textures, the surface and the sculpt map, they often fail to look like more than pixel puke at lower graphics settings or longer distances!

All that is now behind us with this simple tool. Apply the texture to the surface and, viola, it's perfect. You can even add commonly available animation scripts to get animated fires and more!

Unlike many meshes on the grid, all the levels of detail (LODs) have been hand-crafted to provide the best reduction in detail as graphics settings are lowered or viewing distance grows.

While the LI may grow with size, most typical situations have it at 1 LI, or even less. Try linking two together and it's likely you'll still only have an LI of 1!

(Textures and scripts not included.)
