PlantPets are growing and breedable plants in Second Life. The beautifully designed plant parts are temporary rezzed and get renewed every minute as the plant grows. Older sculpt plants do not reduce the prims available on your land, while newer mesh plants have low land impact.

The care for a plantpet is free. All a plantpet needs in order to grow and produce baby seeds is to be watered, which can be done for free with a menu button. The temporary rezzed plant parts can be hidden for reducing the land impact without stopping the seed generation cycle of the plantpet. When happy your plantpets can show it by emitting particles and it will eventually give you a baby seed!
