Bagpipes are a musical instrument that works by pumping air stored in a resevoir (bag) of air through them. There are various types of bagpipes in different cultures throughout the world, these ones are based on the scottish highland bagpipes.

To play them wear the control hud and the bag pipes included. The control HUD contains 9 buttons, these represent the nine notes of the instrument. ( Please note, unlike many other instruments they do not have every note in an octave.

The notes on the scottish bagpipes are Low G, Low A, B, C#, D, E, F#, High G, High A

The control HUD has the following additional buttons....

Release - This will release the sustained bagpipe note if you want to stop the bagpipes altogether. When you play a note on the hud it will automatically release another note if it is being played.

Drone - This will turn on/off the drone sound. This sound plays in the background.

Preload - This will preload all the bagpipe sounds to you and surrounding avatars. This will prevent any delays while the sounds download to avatars computers.

Play using the keyboard Gestures
-------------------------------------
To make the pipes easier to play, ive included a set of gestures that can be used. These allow the notes to be played using the Function Keys on your keyboard. Ive left these gestures full perms so they can be opened and modified. They work by triggering chat commands to trigger the notes.

They look good. If one was musical you could play tunes. (I am not.) Very hard to adjust to AV.

Why no notecard support?

Love the bagpipes, but seriously, why can't I load a song from a notecard? Seems so easy to implement.

awesome instrument, sounds like a real bagpipe! only needs a way to read notecard/score cards for preset songs, like the Hyper instrument series.
Also, great deal for the price! highly recommend it!
