Menu Options (click the board for the menu):
* Owner Only/Group Use/All Use - This button cycles through three access settings for the chess board and pieces. Only Owner can see this button.
* Restore Last - Clears the board and re-set's all the pieces from the last saved game.
* Save Game - Saves the game so you can play it again later.
* Help - Gives the Owner this instruction card. Only Owner can see this button.
* New Game - Starts a new game by clearing the board and rezzing new chess pieces in their starting positions. There are 32 pieces total.
* Clear Board - Removes the chess pieces from the board.
How To Move The Pieces:
1. It is easy to play a real game of chess with this board!
2. Click the piece you wish to move, then click the spot on the board you want it to move to.
3. The chess piece will automatically move to that spot.
How To Save Your Game:
1. You can save your game using the Save Game menu button.
2. Once the save is complete, you can take the board back into your inventory. The game is saved.
3. Rez the board again and click the Restore Last menu button, and start playing where you left off!
Other Features & Notes:
* If you move or rotate the chess board, the pieces will automatically follow. This makes repositioning your board easy.
* As long as you keep the board flat, you can rotate it to any direction, and it will still work.
* You can have as many boards out simultaneously as you want. The boards will not interfere with each other.
* Chess pieces will be in the same group the board is set to when the pieces are rezzed.

Not playable
It doesn't prevent illegal moves, doesn't detect checks nor checkmates. I don't think that can be called "Playable" ! On the top of that, if you delete it during a game, you will have to delete each piece one after the other.
Dont buy it! Never!
Dont buy it ever! You can move pieces everywhere on the bord, even on cross the fields. Totaly waste of L.
Waste of Money
All the pieces do is move to where you click on the board. No logic. Doesn't care who's turn it is. it's a dumb chess set. You can't even play against a computer.
A splendid chess set
This chess set has well sculpted pieces which are wonderfully textured. I have another chess set in SL and this one is much simpler for playing games with other people. It takes a little more effort to scale it if it is not the size you want but is still very simple to resize, and more accommodating since it is resized by editing instead of a resizing script. I wanted it smaller and the sculpted pieces LoD still hold up very well. My only wish is that it had a wood grain textures, am not very good with texturing sculpties and would rather pay for it so I can spend my time role-playing. A definite 5 stars.
Recap on my earlier bad review, the board has been updated and now has auto-moving pieces. I think the development of this thing is going well, I do expect further enhancements like automated removal when a piece takes over another piece, perhaps even automated rule checking. But for now I will enjoy the set!
