The chute has a built in jump booster .[no need to look for a plane or building to jump off]
This is a great way to get around in Second life, the parachute is set to off by default when you log in. Easy to wear on avatar just turn on when needed. The chute is invisible on the spine so no need to worry about it with what ever outfit you are wearing.
