This lovely everyday tea service is just what you need when friends drop in for an afternoon. The ceramic pieces are lightly-glazed porcelain, decorated with thin bands of and gold --- functional and pleasing to look at. The round service tray is silver, embossed with a simple geometric pattern.
The tea service consists of five mesh objects (the teapot, the sugar, the creamer, the tea cup and the silver tray). The tea cup is also rezzed on demand by the teapot. The teapot, the tea cup, and the creamer each contain a single standard prim that is used to simulate a liquid surface or to contain the particle generator that produces steam.
You may rez the five elements separately, but they are designed to be used together as a tea service.
The centerpiece of the service is the teapot. If you or a guest left-click on the teapot, it will rez a cup for you. The cup will always rez between you and the teapot, 0.5m from the pot itself, and with its handle turned so that it would be natural for a right-handed person to pick it up. The cup will be filled with green tea, gently steaming. If you left-click on the cup, it will ask for permission to attach to your right hand. If you grant permission, it will attach and will activate animations so that you will sip your tea every 20 to 30 seconds. When you want to detach the teacup, just click the "Detach" button in the dialog box that appears in the upper right corner of your screen. It will not clutter up your inventory. It will simply vanish -- no cleanup! Don't you wish to could do that in RL?
If you do not choose to pick up the tea cup, it will delete itself a minute later.
The teapot's script will not allow you to rez a second cup of tea until you have detached the one you already have, or until it self-deletes. The script will also not allow you to interfere with your guest's tea.
In the rare event that the teapot's script fails to operate properly, just take the pot back to inventory and re-rez it. It will reset automatically.
The tea pot is 2 L.I. The creamer, sugar, tea cup, and tray are each 1 L.I.
