POTLIGHT KIT

Potlights add the additional accent and fill lighting you are looking for. Copy/Mod so you can resize and/or recolor them as you wish.

5 Brightness Settings:

You can easily change the brightness using the menu. Click on the Potlight Switch and the settings will appear. Please Note: This lamp set utilizes the new projection lighting. Due to this, if Advanced lighting mode is disabled, these lamps will be very bright in their highest setting.

The Potlights labeled "Ambient" do not have light projections.

White + 10 Colors:

You can change the color of the lamp's light and light bulb using the menu selections.

Coordinated Settings:

If you want a group of lamps to turn on and off at the same time, make sure all the Potlights (and the SWITCH!) have the same number is in their object descriptions. (It can be any integer number). If you want groups of Potlights to turn on and off separately, make multiple switches with different numbers in the description field. Only the Potlights with matching numbers in their descriptions will turn on or off with the coordinating switch.

**IMPORTANT:** Reset the script after changing the description numbers by selecting the lamp, then go to menu (I use Firestorm) Build -> Scripts -> Reset Scripts.

Advanced Users:

The switch plate, the switch plate screws, and the switch are each different faces. They are UV mapped and easy to recolor. If you want to change the switch color, understand there are 2 faces for the switch - one for on and one for off. Edit the switch, set transparency to 0 (even if it says 0 already), and then edit the color (you will see both switches at once - it looks weird, I know). When you are done editing, click the switch on and off to set the transparency back to normal.

If for any reason you need to adjust the distance of the invisible light prims, you will need to do a few things. First, set highlight transparent textures on. In Firestorm, you can use Ctrl+Alt+T to turn it on. It turns the invisible prims red and blue, so you can click them easier. Then, edit linked on the blue square, and set the grid to "Local." (In Firestorm, Its the dropdown to the right of the "Unlink" button.) Then, you can move the light prim as needed, maintaining the angle. Press Ctrl+Alt+T again when you are finished to disable the transparency highlight.

Enjoy your lamps!
