Works great with the 2 tone Spiked Pell!
This item also works with:
* 2 Tone breakable doors.
* Safe (boxed)
* StrongBox(boxed)
These weapons have been tailored to the practice environment in several ways.
* The are all set to detect and damage objects as well as avatars. This is needed to allow the weapons to be used on pells and practice dummies.
* The the damages on all these weapon have been set to 'punch'. Since on average a punch does about half as much as a sword this allows for training sessions to go on longer. Because of this, if you use these weapons in a fight with weapons from an outside vendor you will be at a great disadvantage.
* The statistics for all these weapons are as follows:
Short Sword Speed=0.55 Range=2.5m Arc=180
Long Sword Speed=0.6 Range=3.0m Arc=180
Dagger Speed=0.5 Range=2.0m Arc=180
Spear Speed=1.4 Range=3.5m Arc=180
All of these status were picked to create a rich combat environment that is consistent with the GM weapons development and damage guidelines .
A quick note on speed. These weapons will allow you to swing as fast as press the attack buttons, BUT once a hit is detected they automatically delay. That way no matter how fast you attack you can only do damage at the legal rate.
* The animations for the weapons have been limited to just a few. Why? Well I don't have a lot of weapon animations and I tried to keep them all down to ones consistent with the weapon type. I have removed all unrealistic animations from these weapons.
* Unless these weapons are broken for some reason I will not update their scripts. I reserve all future development and enhancements to weapons that i will sell.
About the weapons
These are practice weapons based off of the 2ToneLabs melee weapon scripts. It has been tailored for use in freely distributed weapons for training purposes. Extraneous functionality has been removed and they have been modified to always damage objects as well as AVs in GM/GLM and CCS meters.
WARNING: DAMAGE ON THESE PRACTICE WEAPONS HAS BEEN SET TO THE MINIMUM OR NEAR MINIMUM UNDER GM. Do not use in 'real combat unless you want to lose.
Features:
* Works with DCS, GM, GLM, and CCS combat meters.
* Designed to be as fast as legally allowed for your meter choice. What does that mean? Well, in DCS the weapon speed (attacks per second is set by the DCS SIM so It goes as fast as you press the attack key. For GM, GLM, and CCS this speed is set according to weapons guidelines found in your GM folder.
* The Same exact script (with a custom note card) is used in each weapon. So that no matter what weapon you use in this line, it will behave EXACTLY the same.
* Is designed to play different scripts for each directional attack. So there is a right, left, forward, backward, up, and down animation set.
* Will randomly select the animation played for each attack. By doing this you attacks will vary making them look good as well as helping to put your opponent off balance.
* Has a training mode where you can get feedback on the number of hits you have made. Note it still functions as a lethal weapon in training mode.
* Supports dynamic channel mode GM and GLM.
* Gives audio indication of a successful hit.
* All configuration from a dialog box (/1config).
