Prim Chatter
The words you type appear in 3-D in mid-air in front of you! Never before seen in SL, it's a great attention-getter.
And it's easy to use: Wear it as a Head-up-display (HUD), or simply place it somewhere and let it do its thing.
Features:
* The Prim Chatter is worn invisibly, and reacts to normal chat.
* Lots of menu options
* Configure the letters to be either non-physical or physical. When they are physical, you can run through and scatter them in all directions. This has been field-tested and confirmed to be Great Fun, and it makes a real (temporary) mess.
* Set the Prim Chatter to listen either to you only, or to EVERYBODY in range. People get quite startled when they realize that their typing appears in mid-air.
* Different speakers appear in 16 different colors!
* Includes many special characters, so you can type most smileys.
* The letters are temporary, fade out and disappear after about a minute, leaving no need for clean-up. (Or wipe them earlier with a silent command)
* Letters appear at a varying rate depending on sim lag, usually between 3 and 7 letters per second.
* Word wrap function. Words aren't cut off when the line ends.
* Choose between single-sheet or multi-sheet presentation of the text. Single-sheet is great for using the Prim Chatter as a display.
* "Rare" mode option, so that the Prim Chatter doesn't display everything you say -- only the lines that start with a dot "."
* Quick Wipe option allows you to display a single message before erasing quickly. Good for quick comments and avoiding clutter.
* Choose your own color! (by popular demand, see Buyer Reviews) Make your own words appear in your favorite color.
* NEW: Gravity! Make the letters rain down as soon as they appear. Or make them fly upwards with negative gravity. :)
* NEW: Tracking function! Sentences can appear over the head of EVERY speaker, even if they don't have a Prim Chatter themselves.

Really cool! Best type override I've seen.
It's funny, and worth 5 stars... But it could still be improved.
As an example, it would be great if you could choose which color certain people use, like making yourself always using your favorite color, or align the favorite color of your friends to them...
/Edit: Well, you see my old review... It was 5 stars then, and it keeps that only because I can't give even more^^
The same day, actually only some hours later, I got an IM from the creator telling me he updated the prim chatter so the owner can set his favorite color for himself.
Do I need to say more?^^
