Operation:

The scripts are only designed to work inside linked prims and receive their information externally. This makes them super efficient and discreet. This allows you to play sounds in any prim that you have linked to the script sending the link message commands.

Simply place a script in each prim that you wish to use as a source of sound (or preload a sound) and name the prim.

You can group prims containing this script by simple naming of the prims. All prims containing the script and the having the same name, will play the same sound. Alternatively the same sound could be sent to all prims containing this script allowing you to make some really loud things.

Although you can play sequences with the DATS Matrix Switcher, This is not designed as a music player but a utility sound player only. Use this to play Door sounds, special effects sounds, background sounds any common sounds that need to add ambiance to your builds.

Instructions for the scripts:

Name your prims that will receive a Sound script
Insert the script in the content of the prim.
Link them all together.

Continue building and stop worrying about scripts or controls until you need to set the sound distribution or sequences during final setup.
