Lovely Textures - But Instruction Notecard Needs An Update
full star full star full star full star full star Posted May 11, 2014 by Briony McArdle

First and foremost, the textures ARE GORGEOUS! Five stars just for that alone!

I am having an issue though following the instruction notecard included. In this notecard, there are TWO methods mentioned for getting the texture applied- An Easy method and a more involved method. The Easy method doesn't seem to work for the PC-21 v1.151 that I am attempting to apply this to.

The instructions read:

"Use the texture with the name "default" in it.
- rez your PC-21 aircraft
- edit aircraft / click edit linked parts
- select the root prim of the aircraft (the pilot seat)
- then replace the original texture in the content tab with your new default texture with the same name - - close the edit and say menu and choose a color.
*Note: delete the original texture first before adding new texture or it will rename it with a 1.
The livery script will automatically use your new texture and apply it to all the parts of the plane correctly."

I followed these instructions but when I get into the menu and select the "RSAF" livery, the result is an all grey aircraft and a whole slew of script error messages that read:

"Texture not transferable."

Of course, the Project Pepper texture is "no transfer" so... the easy method just doesn't seem to work on the current aircraft.
