This texture is 512x512 to reduce lag and rez as quickly as possible without sacrificing detail. This is not an alpha texture, so there is no inherent glitch. Never worry about hair, and other things not displaying properly. If you want to have transparency, you can use a script, or change your properties to suit your own unique needs. It is highly tintable as well. You can also export the file and make any changes you like with a graphics program, if you like. This gives you the ultimate in versatility.
