If the layer is invisible, make sure you're using the right version for your BOM, then also that you're tinting the universal layer and not with the HUD, as the HUD will tint all of your layers. Learn from my mistakes!

This is one simple universal layer perfect for scales, feathers, leaves, or other nice mantle bits. It is tintable, and also fits on the base of the neck and back of the head a bit, for funsies. The main image has the texture on a gray and white pony, with no tinting-so you have an idea of how 'white' you can get it.
