update for v56: emoji icons on the hud functions and /1 repel to repel avatars that bump into you. this works in areas with push disabled so long as build is enabled.

update for v58: /1 ultima gives you an addon for your Ultima HUD from Magic Emerald. This module simply sets the target on the QuikHit from your Ultima HUD.

update for v59: /1 armor :: toggle on_damage event armor. decide whether or not to accept combat 2.0 damage.

update for v60: /1 safe :: head past 4096m and be standing on a platform outside of rez range. :: to target yourself, you no longer need to put your partial name so /1 trap will trap you. /1 visit or /1 v to get your NPV out.

Thanks for buying a QuikHit.

Quick and fast way to interact in combat areas, sandboxes, and whatever else that suits you..

All modules use temporary prims.

F5 selects the target avatar along with the region your in and a teleport mode that uses landmarks inside the device:

F6 selects these modules:
attach - pushes your avatar toward the target selected - when the target selected is the region it will push you to <128,128,2048> and hold you there. fly to make this smoother otherwise you will be a yo-yo. use F7 once again to stop this behavior.

bring
sends a NPV object to the target to bring them to you. they will sit on it to do this.

bury
pushes the target downward. does not need push enabled in the land settings to work.

capture
moves the target avatar to your camera location. very smooth and fast too.

hammer
for nailing those hitpoint based follow zombies, drones, etc.

kill
rezzes a 100% damage physical object onto the target.

mosquito
annoys the target by pushing them around with a physical object. it does not need push enabled land to work.

orbit
pushes the target upward. does not need push enabled in the land settings to work.

raycast
alt+cam an object close and run this module against any avatar target. adds the object to your list of targets.

simscan
sends probes through the region to overcome the 96 meter sensor limit.

skybox
rezzes a skybox with an infinite sitter in the center. Your NPV (visit) is also rezzed to take you to it.

trap
rezzes a trap over the target. the trap will also follow them.

visit
sends a NPV object to you to bring you to the target. sit on it to activate it and you will appear over the target. when used on a region you will go to <128,128,2048> and a platform will be rezzed under you. if you are already seated in the Skybox visit will move the skybox to the target's location instead.

===> New in v24 ==> visit has a nice easter egg. stop sim filling goons dead in their tracks! hint: touch the npv to toggle it.

F7 engages the module on the target.

when the teleport mode is selected with F5, F6 will cycle trough the list of landmarks loaded into the device.
they are [bug]- Bug Island, [rau]- Combat (sandbox) Rausch, [si]- Sandbox Island, [swt]- Sandbox - Weapons testing, [void]- Celestis

you may also chat commands to it using /1 module target. target uses the avatar's user name which sometimes is shown in parenthesis. you only need to use enough letters to uniquely identify both the module name and the user name.

the teleport mode uses the RLV extensions in your second life viewer. if you do not have this enabled or don't like RLV extensions you can have QuikHit bring up the map instead. do this by chatting the command /1 rlv off. to turn it back on it's /1 rlv on. this setting is not kept when you detach and reattach the device.

NPV? it's for non-physical-vehicle, basically an invisible "chair" that uses your movement keys. the one in this device is immune to damage enabled land as well.

don't forget to activate the F5, F6, and F7 gestures in the folder the device came in.

:: Special Feature ::
=========================
the Quikhit is is able to be linked across 2 avatars when using the teleport function:

it goes a little something like this: inside the device you will find a script named "followmodetouch - quikhit" and another gesture: F8.

F8 toggles the follow channel. this is used to enable the quickhit on a second avatar to follow a master avatar when using the teleport function. open the follow mode, the QuikHit will expand. do this on the second avatar as well. Have the second avatar click the expanded QuikHit on the other after to enable this feature.

Capital letters? - not today.

this device is perfect for alternate accounts and new users and those advanced users that acquire a taste for it's simplicity.

notes:
you may feel free to add your own modules as the device will chat the target key on the channel it sends as the new module's start parameter. also, it sets the target key as the description to be grabbed from OBJECT_REZZER_KEY and then OBJECT_DESC. aand.. REZ_PARAM_STRING can be used to get the target key as well.
