This fun device comes preloaded with several famous and/or interesting quotes, which can be easily edited and built upon in several different ways. When the Quote Keeper is touched, a random quote is selected from the database and spoken aloud.
The owner can easily edit the enclosed script, adding or subtracting quotes from the master list at the top, or the same can be done via a chat interface that allows anybody to talk to the Quote Keeper and add their own quotes to its database via '/11 your quote here' commands.
The owner is notified when new quotes are added, and can easily remove the most recently added quote by using the '/11 delete' command.
It should be noted that editing the script overwrites any chat-based quote additions, so it is usually best to add or subtract quotes by editing the script first, save it, and then allow others to come and add their own through chat.
Also, as you might imagine, this device has many other uses besides simply collecting and distributing quotes. It can also be used as a means to store bulletins or other information that is of use to the public, or as a guestbook that visitors can leave their message in.
