✎ HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION
Mail hoods have existed during the whole Middle Ages. During the Early times they were often used alone, as head armour. When helmets were used more and more, mail was often directly attached to the helmets - called aventail. However, the full hoods remained in use. Helmets were simply worn over the coif.

Fits excellent with mesh head
I bought this for my RP and was unsure if it would fit over a mesh head. Seeing it was only L$60 what did I have to lose? I can say that wearing the Daniel Catwa Mesh head (no hair of course and my head size setting is 100) that it fit perfect, no scalp or ears poking through...now if this creator would only make resizable helms to go over it that the visor would raise and lower it would complete my Medieval look.

Personally this is a decnet coif, it works with some of my hooded cloaks so whats not to hate?

Regretfully, this item wasn't worth the lindens as it stands right now. There's no alpha, and the item itself can't be resized or moved, so the head and face show through as several points. I look forward to future iterations or packages.
