This small bucolic cottage, with its thatched roof, mortar walls and rustic external carpentry, was designed to replicate a peasant's hut and is contextualized within the return to nature, a term so fashionable in the late 18th century.
Leaving behind the melancholic exterior façade, the interior hides a sophisticated circular room whose decoration consists of various architectural elements such as ionic pilasters, scrolls, cornices ... and others such as trophies, fireplace mantlepiece, ceiling molding ... all covered in different varieties of mother of pearl, shells, mollusks and bits of colored stones.
