REVOLT - A free skill based medieval combat system.

Four years in the making, REVOLT stands against everything that combat systems have become in SL. It stands against the greed, the elitism, and the inaccessibility. With 102 different weapons, 46 different skills, around 40 miscellaneous items, and 100 different crafting recipes, REVOLT is huge. And REVOLT is free. Every single weapon, skill, and item is 100% free.

And why? Because Second Life stops being a game when you have to pay to remain competitive. It stops being fun when you have to work your way up the ladder from the bottom rung.

That doesn’t mean you get it all though. Where would be the fun in that? Over time, you find weapons distributed from the central server. Each weapon has unique stats and a rarity tier. The more you use the skills you like, the more skills you can unlock. The more you craft items, the more recipes you earn. This doesn’t mean you’re at the bottom of the totem pole. REVOLT is about skill, not the dues you’ve payed or the time you’ve put in. If you’re skilled, it doesn’t matter what weapon your opponent is packing, you can still manage to win. Unlocking weapons and skills just give you a variety of ways to express your combat style.

REVOLT is as minimal or as large as you want it to be. Choose which expansions you want to wear.

REVOLT is portable. Use it and any of its expansions in any sim. Find weapons anywhere!

REVOLT is flexible. There are no race restrictions, no alignment that you’re forced into. Design your title the way you want, and allocate points into either life or energy.

REVOLT is skill based. Blocking, energy management, quick weapon swapping (Ranged weapon auto sheaths when melee is drawn, and visa versa), and mouselook aimed skills.

REVOLT also has constructible walls, gates, towers, and siege weapons. So there’s that.

Basic System:
Custom Color Text, No Invasive Meter Title, Point allocation system to set your stats, Swords, Axes, Polearms, Spears, Knives, Warhammers, Bows, Crossbows, Throwing Weapons

Magic Skill Hud (38 Spells):
Fire Magic, Storm Magic, Earth Magic, Psionic Magic, Light Magic, Death Magic, and some secret unlockable spells.

Non-Magic Skill Hud (8 Skills):
Constitution, Cunning, Intimidation, Agility

Crafting Hud (100 Recipes):
Resource Gathering, Construction, Blacksmithing, Ranging, Alchemy, Runescribing
