Thane Woodford has created this full perm one prim stalactite grouping as part of the cave and grotto series. It gives realism to your cave or grotto while using only one prim to cover a fair bit of surface. I have seen them being used to very good effect as icicles as we move into the winter season. So, I am sure they can be many things. Any seamless texture will work on them.
