Thank you for your interest into RLV Teleporter System. RTS is a framework for building global teleporters. A teleport via RTS simulates using of a landmark and allows to visit any place - in contrast to local teleporters which move the avatar inside the same sim or to a connected one.
RTS belongs to a bundle of two products: 'RTS' and 'RTS Extensions'. RTS itself contains a core system and allows to realize regular teleport projects. RTS Extensions handles extending the core system by driver scripts in order to realize special teleport projects.
1. What can RTS?
For teleport, the teleport command is passed over to the viewer via its RLV interface. Is the command accepted, the viewer performs it without opening any window. The user sees just the progress bar and than the avatar on target place.
RTS contains a target management (80 targets at last) but can also select targets not at the list. The teleport can be triggered on five modes: Click, collision, sitting, radar and chat. Further modes are possible, by using custom scripts.
The system architecture is modular and extensible: Selection of scripts decides the device features. Further scripts can be added easily.
Configuration data are stored into a single notecard and separated in sections making the system easy to extend and configure.
Not every viewer implements the RLV interface. But it is not obligatory: You can switch off the RLV support in the configuration. If the RLV support is necessary, the supplied TPRelay device takes over the task of the RLV interface, also.
2. Content of the package
The package contains this items among others:
* A development kit,
* example teleporters build by the development kit,
* textures, sounds and animations for further usage
* and a comprehensive user manual.
The user manual is a notecard with embedded notecards around configuration and usage of the teleporter devices and as well the documentation of the script interfaces. Alternatively, you find the manual as a single pdf file to view online or download (recommended) below in this product page.
The manual is written in english and german and takes 120 pages. The pdf file contains also the development license agreement. Please read it before you decide for RTS.
The product box is equipped by a novel unpacking script. Please rezz the box in a place with allowed scripts running. The script will give the content in several folders. By moving them together you receive a folder structure, which makes the working with RTS much easier. A detailed online tutorial you can find here:

3. RTS example teleporters
Supplied example teleporter demonstrate the abilities of the RTS. They are prepared and partially load with 11 destinations. You can use them immediatelly after opening the package. To define new destinations you only need to configure them.
TPSign: A wall poster, pictures the target place. Performs teleport to shown location if clicked.
TPMirror: A picture as curtain or carpet. By walking through or over it, performs teleport to shown place.
TPVendor: A device designed as a vendor. Selection of the target via thumbnail or scroll buttons. By clicking on shown target, performs the teleport.
TPRadar: A scanner, mounted unremarkably. Teleports intruders to a prevously selected location.
Chatporter: A wall poster with scroll buttons. Performs teleport on a chat command.
Sitporter: Levitating sphere with a rotating target picture inside. The teleport starts if the traveller sits on it.
Holoporter: A platform, the target picture is shown over it. To teleport, the traveller must stand over the platform and click on it.
4. Inworld updates
In a few of JFS stores, update orbs are installed. By using them, you can easily request a redelivery or update for JFS products. The actual list of those locations you can read here:
http://jennassl.blogspot.com/2010/05/actual-shop-list.html
How to update is explained in the user manual, or on the update tutorial, which you can find here:

Have fun and succes,
Your JFS shop
- Teleport everywhere from everywhere
- Various trigger modes (touch, collision, sit, chat, radar)
- RLV is not required (but very helpful)
- Supports registered targets and given on the fly
- Extensible system architecture, open script interfaces
Works fine
Examples work as I understood they should work (as in 'you just step into mirror and gets teleported') as far as SL script engine works fine (my original checks were at time it did NOT work fine for several days).
Doesnt work
Dont waste your L on this i just fell vicitm to it even if you follow the instructions right to the letter it will no work
