This is a tester so that you can know if the newest DEM items will work for you. They rely on features currently only available in the very newest of viewers.
If you see the DEM logo super-imposed on your screen, then you can use the blindfold.

A "demo" in need of an update
After equipping this item my client froze, and used 16GB of RAM.
Trying to force strip the item with the help of a friend didn't work since RLV got blocked/unresponsive.
Only managed to unequip it when using the standard SL client.
