• Over reach boots are used to prevent the horse from injuring themselves by overreaching (where their back legs come up too far and they hit their front heels) which would result in serious injuries. They also prevent injuries by shoe studs; overreach boots are specially used for competitions like jumping, cross country, barrel racing, and when the horse is working on surfaces that might get them to trip/slip.
They're also used when turning horses out as extra safety or to prevent them from pulling a shoe etc.
Overreach boots are only used on the front legs.

Question: Why are your items No Mod?
Answer: Most of my items are no mod to protect my work. I don't want to deal with people ruining the textures and then complaining at me; it's just a way to protect what I do, and I won't change that.
Question: But people could tint what they buy that way!
Answer: I release most of items in assorted colors/patterns and if you're interested in one it can always be suggested. Or if it's more complex comissioned as a custom work if customs are open (the status and terms of service are available at my Everest Meadows shop)
Question: But it doesn't fit my avatar!
Answer: Rigged mesh items will only fit the avatar brand they were rigged for. If the shape is very different some rigged mesh items might clip through or deform, but trying demos will cut you some slack. If you want to demo a mesh and you don't see a demo listed IM me inworld and I'll send it to you!
Question: Can I get the UVs to make my own textures?
Answer: No.
