► Animation General Info
- Animation has been made with default SL/Avastar rig.
- Animation adjustments have been made for every of the listed test Bento heads separately.
- Translation/Location data has been used on Tongue and Eye Focus bones only!
- Not tested on other head brands!
- Not tested with animesh!
- Usage of any of [RNP] Bento Face animations is strictly forbidden in standalone commercial HUDs. They may be part of the HUDs sold as part of other creations (e.g. furniture where you don't want to inbuild animations into object, but still want to offer facial animations via HUD). Please DO read the full ToS!
Please note: Animations are packed in the notecards to provide clear categorization of different animation files according to a test model!
► About Head Test Models
Every Bento Head brand has it's own specificity: some will have more or less expressive eyebrows, some will have
higher or lower tongue default position, thicker or thiner tongue shape, narrower or wider eyes ... It is almost
impossible to have perfect application of the animation for each and every one of them. More than ever,
animators and builders are facing shape and rig position challange in order to provide full satisfaction to
end customers.
Second layer of challenge are users them self with customizing original facial shapes provided with
Bento heads. With custom shapes, even original animation HUDs are not capable to perfectly apply animation
onto face.
In order to cover the most popular Bento heads in Second Life, we had to narrow the choice onto 3 brands:
LAQ, LeLutka and Catwa. That doesn't mean some of the animation options offered in this pack will not work
on other bento head brands, it simply means animations are not adjusted nor tested on other brands.
If custom shape is used, than it is the best option to apply animation made for given head, or the one that applies
the best on the original shape. ( e.g. if custom facial shape has been based on LAQ shapes, use animation adjusted for LAQ heads.)
The most important technical issues with some heads is that they are simply not made to handle returning to
default bone location, and very often this will cause tongue stuck out in the last position. To resolve that
problem, it is always good idea to have provided "Fix Face" animation somewhere on hand in your menu.
