The RP Survival HUD is a simple HUD that is intended to give you a more immersive roleplay experience by giving you an idea of your character's general fatigue, starvation, and dehydration. Nothing happens if you neglect it, there's no deeper system of consequences, this is intended to be a very easy and relaxed system simply towards deciding when your character is tired, hungry, and thirsty.
There are three categories, each with a simple method of addressing it. They are:
Fatigue - Looks like a Zz sleep bubble. Sitting on the ground or on objects reduces your fatigue as this is considered resting.
Starvation - Looks like a fork and spoon. Clicking on this lets you replenish 10% of your starvation, which is generally good for snacks. For larger meals, simply click the symbol multiple times until it accurately represents, to you, how much nourishment your character got from their meal.
Dehydration - It is the water drop. Like with food, click on the symbol relieves 10% of your dehydration. Click on this multiple times for when your character drinks a lot of liquids.
You'll notice you can click on the Fatigue symbol. Click and hold for about two seconds to reset the HUD back to 0% on all three statuses.
All three statuses tick up by 1% over time but can tick faster if your walking or running for a period. So if you find your character running around a lot, don't be too surprised when your HUD shows your character to be burning through their status's faster because, well, that's how it works. Exerting energy does that.
Why have this? Because you might like it, really. It's intended to add immersion to any roleplay but without being intrusive. It doesn't harm you to have it, just as it doesn't harm you to neglect it when your don't want to use it. On the other hand, if can give you a reason to have your character take a seat more often from feeling exhausted or worn out, to snack on something, drink something, etc. It gives you something for your character to address casually, much how people eat, drink, and rest their legs casually almost without thinking on a daily basis. Now you have a HUD that lets you apply that to your character for some depth.
