Wear both the "hip" and "hand" units. To use the tricorder after these are both worn, type:
/33 draw
In open chat.
To return it to your hip, type:
/33 holster
In open chat.
Click the tricorder while it is in your hand to turn on the "scan" feature. This is a radar that will pick up any avatar within 96 meters. Avatar ranges and names will be displayed in hovertext above the unit. To turn the scan off, either holster the tricorder, or click it again.
This tricorder is also RPCS (Role Play Clue System) enabled. It unlocks the "Use Tricorder" function on clues that have this feature available in them. Simply click on the clue while you are holding the tricorder, and click the "Use Tricorder" button in the menu. This is only enabled when the Tricorder is "Drawn"
** Internal Scripts are COPY/NO MOD/NO TRANSFER. Tricorder Objects are COPY/MOD/NO TRANSFER.
The main RPCS System is offered separately... this is ONLY the Tricorder.

I just needed a prop to do some scanning noises and animations for a show. This did the trick perfectly!
i panicked when the hand tri-corder did not rez for some reason it was 100 % transparent. but an easy fix.

This is just great. Works perfectly and looks great. I had to make it a bit smaller to bit my Trill but that was super easy.
