it's not a plane, it's not an helicopter...
it's an autogyro!
a short takeoff aircraft that can land almost vertically.
The particularity of this vehicle is that the top blade is not powered by engine, but it spins with air impact.
The propeller on the back provides the necessary thrust to keep the rotor spinning.
While landing, the vertical speed will do it.
Basically you can't fall ;)
This vehicle is not easy to fly, as it needs a bit of practice. But it's not also very difficult. Let's say that it is fun.
I tried to make a good Autogyro behavior :)
This SL version has some nice features:

Drowned 7 times inworld testing this, but great fun doing so! easy buy, looks fantastic, it's mod and copy so hopefully I can make my own rezzer for it while I learn how to pilot it properly, but even if not, it's not he end of the world, great stuff all round, also drowned on some shark looking vehicle while there, also great and added to wishlist!
Easy to Fly and Fun for two to enjoy!!
I saw this at the store today when purchasing the Little Bee Boat and ended up coming back for it tonight. Flew it all around the oceans and over some sims around Blake sea it is so easy to control and fly. Lands on a dime and crosses sims with ease. Enjoy it if you get one!
I love this autogyro
In another month I will have had this autogyro one year.. it's probably one of the better aircraft that I have ever owned.. I never have any problems at any Sim Crossings. You can land it almost anywhere and take off from almost anywhere.. The only problem I have with it is the throttle is not sensitive enough I wish it would go in increments a 5% instead of 10 percent and sameway with the steering but other than that it's a fantastic item.. I'm usually the only one that has one out there flying.. if you check the YouTube video for second Norway when everybody thought s n o was leaving check the very last plane on the video it's actually a gyrocopter that's right the gyrocopter you're looking at now.. Hex

I got this gyro since 4 years and forgot it..
Surprise today when I try it! very good and love keys an switches actives on the panel just a remark
ON or OFF switches stay red I would like they turn green when ON as on the HUD otherwise its perfect handle and rudders are mobile, good flight script and handsome! Very good purchase!
Super Fun
I bought this for my RL birthday. I'm no natural pilot and it is difficult to learn but it is fun. The build is excellent quality and I can't wait to be flying this cute gyro to show off.
