Rez your vendor and Right-Click Edit.
Open the .config you will then see all your settings that can be changed
Example Below:

#Change Product Name - Price & Email.
# Drag Texture from Inventory onto the CENTER face of the Vendor (Default Texture is RSD)

# Drop an object into the vendor. set the "product" field to the object's name.
product = Example Product
# Set Price of the Item inside your Vendor.
price = 1

# Email Address - Change to your Email to receive transaction Emails for customers Info & there Transaction #'s
emailaddress = test@email.com

# Vendor HoverText - Example Will Show Your Text $L Amount set above Vendor. (Leave Blank for no hovertext)
hovertext = Example Product $L1

# This will be the message to Customer will get when Using the Menu > Info button on the vendor
productInfo = This is Test Product information!

# Tells customer how to pay for Item
productBuy = Right Click and Pay for pay options

When someone purchases items from your vendor they will receive a message like the following:

You just purchased Example Product for L$1. Here is your transaction ID in case your item is not delivered properly:
65147204-93da-414f-4b75-b86e0fd58137
Note: If you did not put in a Email. you will not be able to use the Transaction ID to make sure someone purchased.
You can however still search your tranaction history on the secondlife page
