Do you remember the sparkling aluminum Christmas Trees from mid-century America? Do you wish you had been there then? Would you like to recreate it those days in SL? Well, now you can!
This gorgeous, full, aluminum Christmas tree comes in a rotating stand that plays an original arrangement of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" on a music box. Touch the tree for a menu that lets you choose music only, spinning only, both, or neither.
It's copy/mod, so you can make the tree as small or as tall as you'd like it. 2 LI for the tree and stand, at normal sizes; so you'll have plenty of LI left for decorating.
It comes with a rotating Color Wheel light, recreated in stunning detail. The light has Materials, so if you're using a Material enabled viewer, you'll be able to see the light shift on the honeycomb dimples as it rotates.
Touch the light to toggle it on or off. When on, the light wheel and bulb are full bright, the wheel rotates, and it projects light that transitions from red to blue, to green, to yellow, and back to red. (Advanced Lighting needs to be enabled to see the light projection.)
Touch it again, and the wheel stops turning, the bulb and plastic of the wheel return to normal mode, and the light goes out.
If you get close, you can hear a very quiet motor hum when the light is running.
In addition, you get a beautiful mid-century box of ornaments, with green printing on brown cardboard. The box is closed, and is only a prop. (There are no ornaments included.) The texture on the box is by Marianne McCann.

So well done. I was surprised the spinning light actually worked..not on the tree but it does work and it does change colors. So fun and retro.
Midcentury magic!
Great! I love being able to resize my aluminum tree. But the extra details are what really make this particular Christmas collection magical. I love the detail of the motorized color wheel (only 2 LI!!), and the box of off-brand Shiny Brite ornaments is such a special touch. Just like Grandma's house! (Assuming your grandmother was a very, very cool cat.)
