This tiny dragon with dragonfly wings uses Materials to be simply breathtaking.
It's a little art piece that was first seen in Robin Wood's "Forgotten Toys," now translated into SL for everyone to enjoy.
The body is made of solid brass, polished to a soft sheen, with a copper crest. The eyes are opals. The wings are anodized titanium, cast and molded into amazing multi-colored dragonfly wing shapes. (The normal map is taken from real dragonfly wings.)
Skillful use of Materials makes this sweet little dragon look absolutely real. (You must have ALM (Advanced Lighting Model) enabled in your graphics prefs to see Materials.)
Honestly, you have to see this piece to grasp how pretty it is.
Out of the box, she's just a bit more than 16 cm tall, to fit comfortably on a shelf. She's mod, though, so you can make her as large (or small) as you like. (LI will increase with size, of course; but you can make her a hair more than 64 cm tall, which is about knee height, before she flips over to 2 LI.)
Just a lovely, enchanting piece. Come and see her in person!
