[RW] Christmas Light Strand Kit [ Full Perm ] Version 2.1

I wanted some Halloween lights for my house but couldn't find what I wanted till I came across this kit! It comes with a variety of sculpt maps for various types of decor. Having the script included was also part of the reason I got this. Other flashing scripts I've found, you have to go in and change the color of the flash manually. I know how to do it but it's a pain in the neck not to mention others that don't know how to edit scripts. All you do is drop it in the prim you want it in... then change the color of the prim and voila... simple! The price is also reasonable... excellent!

These lights are really good, the only bad thing I found was that I have to create, do not see examples prim, I just wanted to link a rope to a shoe, and I'll have a bit of work to create all prims I'm used to come and buy sculpts examples fullperm .. This and more so something that I really like .. I do not have much time to stop and create all ... practical things like .. Thanks Raven, keep up the good work ..

This is a great kit for creating anything with cords and lights to it. The plug sculpt is the main reason I bought this kit as its the only sculpted electrical plug on the market that I have found at the time of purchase.
TIP to builders!! For the plug sculpt to show up correctly when building it check of the box that says "inside-out" to make the sculpt show the right way.

bought it and put it together and used it in a creation of one of my outfits, not hard to figure our and build just some basic knowledge on how to use sculpts and linking prims. Great Product and Great price well worth the investment

If you want a strand of lights this is a decent product and not a bad price. But here is the thing. Each strand of lights consists of one rope like sculpty plus 2 prims per light--one for the base and one for the bulb. Technically I could have made something close to this out of regular prims. This is a very primmy set of lights that use sculpties where reg prims could have sufficed. Plus you have to make each and every light bulb which takes time.
There are few unique configurations of light coil and the plugs, plus you have the plug pieces if your real picky about things looking real and not short of prims. No texture is provided but a few simple colors is all you need anyway. The script is handy if you dont already have one like it.
The bottom line is I was disappointed in this product because I already had rope sculpts and I didnt get any prim saving benefits that I usually expect from a scuplt and I am pretty sure I could have made something like this without spending the L. But I was rushing and purchased a couple of Christmas things at the same time so I didnt take as close a look at the product as I should have.
My bad. I felt it would be right to warn people who might also be rushing to purchase christmas stuff, if you already have 20K things in your inventory and are handy with a prim, save your L because you prolly already have everything you need. If your a newb and you want some lights and you have 299L plus some fussing time to create all the lights its a pretty nice set of lights

Well made sculpt kit! Awesome customer support! Contacted Raven about the original script not working, found out it was my viewer not having basic shading available. Raven made an entirely new script so myself and others could see the blinking effect of the script, while I waited! Can't ask for better service than that! Looking forward to your next creation.
